In this case, the goal was to program a smart box and retrieve the required security code from the motorcycle’s immobilizer system using KeyMaster G3.
The first step was to remove the motorcycle’s smart box and identify the module type. The smart box used in this ADV 350 carried the code K2LM2, which can be found through the OBDSTAR database.
After selecting the correct model in OBDSTAR G3 software, the system provides the corresponding wiring information required for data acquisition.
To access the immobilizer data, OBDSTAR MP001 adapter was used to establish the necessary wiring connections to the smart box.
Once all wiring connections were completed and a stable 12V power supply was connected, the KeyMaster G3 was used to communicate with the module and begin the security code extraction process.
The system guides the user through the operation menu and verifies that all connections are correct before reading the data.
After several minutes of processing, the device successfully retrieved the required PIN code information from the smart box.
With the PIN code obtained, the next stage involved using the programmer to read and write the necessary immobilizer data.
The X300 Classic G3 completed the programming procedure and prepared the smart box for installation back into the motorcycle.
This process ensures that the smart box is correctly synchronized with the vehicle’s security system.
The final test confirmed that the smart key system was functioning normally and that the motorcycle could be started successfully.
The successful startup verified that the security data had been written correctly and that the programming procedure was completed without issues.
