In this guide, we demonstrate how to program a 2024 Honda ADV 350 using OBDSTAR G3 diagnostic and programming tool.
This procedure involves working with the smart system and retrieving the PIN code required for programming.
Step 1: Remove the Smart Box
First, the smart box is removed from the motorcycle. This unit is responsible for the immobilizer and key authentication system. In this case, the system identification is K2L M2.
Step 2: Connect Wiring and Adapter
Next, we use MP001 programmer to connect the system wiring properly. Correct wiring is essential to ensure communication with the ECU and avoid errors during reading.
We also ensure a stable 12V power supply before proceeding.
Step 3: Read PIN Code with OBDSTAR G3
Using OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3, we access the system menu and begin the PIN code reading process.
The device communicates with the ECU through the adapter setup. After confirming all connections, we start the operation.
The system may take around 5 to 6 minutes to retrieve the PIN code successfully.
Once completed, the PIN code is displayed and ready for use.
Step 4: Programming Process
After obtaining the PIN code, we proceed with programming using the OBDSTAR system.
The tool reads and writes the required data into the immobilizer system, completing the programming process.
Step 5: Reinstall and Test
Finally, we reinstall the smart box back into the motorcycle.
After installation, we perform a startup test.
The motorcycle starts successfully, confirming that the programming process was completed correctly.
Using KeyMaster G3, the ADV 350 2024 smart system programming process becomes efficient and reliable. With proper wiring, correct PIN retrieval, and stable power supply, technicians can complete the job smoothly.
