This guide explains how to complete the Triumph 400 IMMO key pairing procedure using OBDSTAR MotoMaster. The entire process takes approximately 15 minutes when performed correctly.
This method allows professional technicians to add and pair new keys safely and efficiently.

M002 power cable (external power supply required)
M041 dedicated diagnostic cable
Two new blank keys
Fully charged vehicle battery
Important: Always ensure the motorcycle battery is fully charged before starting.
2024 Triumph 400 IMMO Key Pairing Procedure
Step 1: Locate the OBD Port
On the 2024 Triumph 400, the OBD port is located under the seat.
Use the key to unlock and lift the seat to access the connector.
This model uses a Chaina IV compliant OBD connector.
Step 2: Connect OBDSTAR MotoMaster
Connect MotoMaster scanner to the motorcycle using OBDSTAR M041 cable.
During programming, connect OBDSTAR M002 cable to provide external power to the device.
External power is mandatory to maintain stable voltage during key programming.
Step 3: Enter the IMMO System
On the device, navigate to:
[IMMO] → Search Triumph → Enter Immobilizer System → Select [Special Function]
Choose [Key Pairing] and carefully read all system prompts and safety notes.
Step 4: Program the First Key
Insert the first blank key and turn the ignition switch to ON.
The system will display that 0 keys are registered.
Tap OK to begin pairing.
After completion, the screen will show:
“There is currently 1 key(s) paired.”
Step 5: Program the Second Key
Insert the second blank key and wait approximately 5 minutes.
Follow the on-screen countdown process.
Once the timer finishes, the second key will be successfully programmed.
Programming Completed
After both keys are paired, the 2024 Triumph 400 key programming is completed using OBDSTAR MotoMaster Motorcycle scanner.
