OBDSTAR has introduced MB FBS4 Virginization support for selected Mercedes-Benz Bosch engine control modules. The new function provides automotive technicians and locksmiths with additional capabilities for ECU replacement, programming, and FBS4-related services.
The new feature is available through supported OBDSTAR tools, including the KeyMaster G3 and DC706, as well as compatible ECU MASTER Configuration A.

Supported Mercedes-Benz Bosch ECMs
The current MB FBS4 virginization coverage includes the following Bosch ECM types
- Bosch MED17.7.1 TC1797
- Bosch MED17.7.2 TC1797
- Bosch MED17.7.3 TC1797
As with all ECU-related functions, coverage can depend on the specific ECU hardware, software version, vehicle configuration, and tool configuration.
