OBDSTAR has introduced the new OBDSTAR V850 Adapter Kit, an optional accessory designed for the MQB-48 5A Cluster Recalibration function. The new adapter kit provides a solder-free method for immobilizer data reading and is designed to support All Keys Lost, Add Keys, and other key programming functions.
Solder Free MQB 5A Immobilizer Data Reading
V850 adapter kit is specially designed to simplify immobilizer data reading on supported MQB 5A dashboard types.
Unlike solder-based operations, the V850 uses dedicated adapter plates that can be positioned directly on the supported dashboard types. This provides a more convenient connection method for technicians working with compatible MQB 5A systems.
The kit supports:
- Solder-free immobilizer data reading
- All Keys Lost
- Add Keys
- Other supported key programming functions
- Direct-fit custom positioning adapter plates

V850 kit includes custom positioning adapter plates designed for the supported dashboard types. The corresponding assembly drawings show how each adapter plate is matched with the relevant dashboard.
